    Frequently asked questions

    Does it work with scans?

    No: a scan is an image and has no selectable text. That needs OCR, which is under evaluation.

    Does it keep formatting?

    It keeps line and paragraph breaks; not fonts or tables.

    All the work is done by your browser. We store no files and know no passwords.

    Works with protected PDFs (including AES-256). Only produces PDF files.
